The Indian Valley Church of God has a rich heritage. As we recall the past, we are reminded continually of God’s providence and guidance in the establishing of our church. Even in its conception, God arranged a tent meeting in 1949 in which the Spirit of God breathed life into this newborn church through revival. Rev. Dorsie Phillips became the founding pastor, and the Indian Valley Church of God was organized on August 20, 1949 with ten charter members who had a burden for the lost and a vision for the future.<\/p>\n
