Who We Are<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are much more than a building or an institution, we are a living body of believers who trust in each other and God. We offer a place to learn and grow in Christ–a home and refuge to all people, where the individuals who call it theirs might glorify God.\u00a0We are united by the compelling love of God to help all that enter our doors. We are devoted to making this church a loving church. We are loyal in our effort to encourage and help everyone become disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to help you find a mountain on which to stand and shine the light of God onto the world. We are faithful to the Truth of God and do our best to present it in a complete and sincere way. We are the Pentecostal church in the valley that always has you on our hearts.<\/p>\n

Facilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

As the number of people that form the church has grown, so also has size of the facilities. We have a brick structure that holds our classrooms and previous sanctuary, the newest metal framed sanctuary that seats approximately 450 we moved into in November, 2011 and a fellowship hall which is just over the hill from the church in walking distance with a parsonage between. Both the church and fellowship hall stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer thanks to heating and air conditioning. They are comfortable and provide a great space for everyone to worship. To God be the Glory!<\/p>\n

\n<\/a><\/strong>Are not the people, in both ministry and laity, the ones who determine the quality of a church by their love?<\/p>\n

In the 22 chapter of Matthew, an individual comes forward and asks Jesus a question saying; “Master, which is the great commandment in the law; Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”<\/p>\n

Although, we each sometimes bring our own problems, insecurities, and imperfection to church, the second most important of all of the Lord’s commandments is to love each other. This is what we strive for, a loving and caring church constituted by loving and caring people. Romans 14:19 shows us one aspect of this love, saying; “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” Our opportunity every time we meet is to make the house of the Lord the most enlightening it can be through the love of each for all and the whole. To offer this, there are some distinct, basic things which must be met. We must not be each other’s condemners. We must put others first, before ourselves. We must protect the peace. Finally, we must be the friends and encouragers of all.<\/p>\n

These are the words of God, which we seek to fulfill through our members and our church endeavors to do a very good job of fulfilling them. The love held by our church members, for fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, is one of the most powerful testimonies to the power of God working in our church. \u00a0A simple visit will reveal to anyone this strong community of people who share fellowship, peace, and good will at every service.<\/p>\n

Services<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is important to our discussion of our church that we convey, in a simple, vivid way, what services are like. Our services are filled with prayer, music, preaching, worship, and the offering of an opportunity to come forward to strengthen or establish your relationship with Jesus. Things generally flow in a sort of loose order, moving from music, to preaching, and into worship. The church does believe in giving utterance to the Holy Ghost and this is incorporated into our time together when the Holy Ghost moves over the congregation.<\/p>\n

The music is spiritual and well played and sung. \u00a0The members of the church sing and rejoice during this time. Music is an important part of worship for us and is played in an upbeat manner with drums, piano, guitars, bass, mandolins, fiddles, banjos, and other instruments.<\/p>\n

The preaching of God’s word is accurate and directed by the Holy Ghost. The Truth is taught using multiple styles and sometimes with the aid of multiple mediums, always using the Bible as our guide. We try to present the whole Word and add nothing to the Word of God.<\/p>\n

When we meet, we focus on giving the glory to God. It is God’s house, not ours, and when we are there, we want to praise Him, the almighty, who is perfect. This is why we don’t only preach and teach, but worship.<\/p>\n

We do provide Children’s Church (approximately 11:30-12:30) for ages 0-10 on Sunday Morning after Sunday School (10-11 am) and Choir.<\/p>\n
